A Little About Me

I am so glad you stopped by my blog. My name is Tonya. I am the wife of an amazing and supportive husband and the mother of two wonderful sons.

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, which is an autoimmune disease, and became sick of the pain and decided to do something about it. That something was nutrition. I eat an anti-inflammatory diet and love finding and creating recipes to share with others. Since I adore delicious food and drinks, I am on a quest to find the balance in healthy eating without sacrificing great food and flavor.

You may notice there are many recipes that are not AIP compliant. That is because when I started this journey my body accepted whole grains, saturated fat, dairy and sugar. Oh how I miss those days. I am leaving them on my website because I think they are delicious recipes. So, if you can tolerate those types of food, please enjoy :)
